A note from our founder
For almost five years, I dreamed of doing something in tourism, but the path was never clear. Then, along with my colleagues, we decided to start right here in Bihar—where the mindset for travel was still growing and tour operators were missing.
What began as a 12-day project to test the idea turned into something much bigger. A special thanks to Prince Soni, Arjun Singh, and Vikash Kumar Sah—their constant support made Ghumo Bihar a reality.
On March 22, Bihar Diwas, we launched our website. But it took another four months to build the confidence for our first group trip. That happened on 14th July—Patna to Rohtas with 15 members. It was a one-day, free trip, with over 500 applications! We selected 12 passionate travelers and learned a lot that day about organizing tours.
Since then, we've never looked back. From day trips to Rohtas, to group tours across Sasaram, Darjeeling, Rajgir, Nalanda, and even Maha Kumbh — Ghumo Bihar has grown into a community of travelers, and this is just the beginning.
A year ago, Ghumo Bihar was just a dream. Today, it's become something bigger—a community that brings people, places, and stories together.
And it's all because of YOU—our travelers, supporters, and team. Your trust and excitement keep us going and inspire us to do more.
